Equip your leaders in areas where they can lead better.  

Do your key leaders have Level 2 emotional intelligence?  Do they know how to handle tense/emotional situations? 

Do they know how to flex their leadership style for the situation or are they stuck in one style? 

Do your leaders have clear succession plans for their teams?  Are they actively developing their #2 and #3?
