About Our Guest Speaker

Terrell Hughes is a civil engineer and public works administrator who, after serving in key roles at VDOT such as Assistant Planning Director and Assistant Division Administrator, was appointed in August 2020 as Director of Henrico County’s Department of Public Works. He oversees a large infrastructure portfolio including roads, traffic signals, stormwater systems, and more, and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech as well as a Professional Engineer license in Virginia.
