About Our Guest Speaker
Stacey Inglis serves as Deputy City Manager for the City of Milton, Georgia, where she works closely with the City’s leadership team to advance strategic priorities, strengthen organizational performance, and deliver high-quality services to the community. Since joining Milton in 2007, she has played a key role in shaping the City’s financial and operational foundation, including leading major initiatives, implementing long-range planning strategies, and helping guide Milton’s growth as a high-performing local government.
Prior to her current role, Stacey served as Finance Director and City Treasurer, where she established the City’s seven-year capital improvement plan, implemented a pay-as-you-go capital financing strategy, and authored financial policies that promote transparency and long-term sustainability. Her leadership contributed to Milton earning a AAA bond rating—an uncommon achievement for a young city.
Stacey previously held finance leadership roles with the City of Riverdale, the City of Jonesboro, Clayton County Water Authority, and the City of Pooler. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University.
She is a Credentialed Manager through the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and a graduate of the Senior Executive Institute at the University of Virginia’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. Stacey also serves as a District Director on the Georgia City-County Management Association (GCCMA) Board, supporting professional development and regional collaboration across North Georgia.
A Georgia native, Stacey lives in Cherokee County with her husband, Tim, and two children, AJ and Amelia. She is passionate about public service and takes great pride in serving the Milton community.
